Methodology
A blend of interactive discussions, practical exercises along with case studies and group discussions will be used to make learning interesting and meaningful. The practical exercises have been carefully designed to focus upon issues that commonly arise during audits. Pre-requisites for Participants
ISO 14000: A prior exposure to any Management systems concept - ISO 9001 or TS 16949 or familiarity with Environmental issues is preferable.
OSHAS 18001: Completion of secondary education (Preferable). A prior exposure to any Management systems concepts - ISO 9001 or TS 16949 or ISO 14001, or familiarity with Health & Safety issues.
Assesment
There is an examination for the internal auditor course and participants will be assessed on the basis of their performance and progress throughout the course. On successful completion candidates will be given a certificate indicating their successful completion and others will be given a participation certificate.

Dr. C. Venkatraman M.Tech., Ph.D has 20 + years of rich experience in the following areas and was formerly Head – Certification Business; for more than 8 years with Bureau Veritas Certification India Pvt. Ltd. Chennai, CDM Verifier, Lead Auditor for QHSE, Food Safety, Fami-QS, BRC and Organic Certification

· Clean Development Mechanism and Climate Change
· Environmental Management – Industrial waste water treatment, Municipal Sewage treatment, Operation & Maintenance of treatment plants, Industrial Pollution Prevention & Control, Solid Waste Management, Water Management
· Technical Design & Operation of Raw Water Treatment Plants
· Organic Farming & Food Processing, including Agricultural Inputs
· Technical Design & Operation of Raw Water Treatment Plants

· Lead Auditor for QMS / EMS / OHSAS Carry out internal audits to verify conformance of Management Systems to requirements of Quality, Environmental, Occupational Health & Safety, Food Safety, HACCP, BRC, Global GAP and ISO / TS Standards
· Undertake Supplier audits for various companies to ascertain compliance to Customer requirements
· Providing awareness training programs and internal auditor training courses in Quality, Environmental, OHSAS, Integrated Management System, Food Safety & Hygiene, BRC, FAMI-QS and Organic Certification.
