Must have qualifications
with a Bachelors degree or 2-4 years experience with an Masters Degree.
Out of the total experience, a minimum of 1 year should be in a Telecom or Technology industry.
Development experience in C, C++ and UNIX/Linux environment is also a must.
Academic projects in C++/UNIX do not count towards experience.
Prior experience in working with North America/Europe based teams is a must. Should be strong in English communication.
Additional Qualifications:
AVA/J2EE experience is an added plus.
Knowledge of CAMEL, INAP and GSM MAP protocols or the AIN/WIN protocols are desired. Pertinent work experience in this area is an added plus.
Familiarity with the concepts in Third Generation Wireless Networks, 3GPP OSA, Virtual Private Network, originating & terminating Voice Pre-Paid, Pre-paid SMS, & Pre-Paid GPRS services a plus.
Major Duties & Functions
Software tools development and maintenance on the existing tools that are used by developers and testers.
Work under the technical supervision of a team lead in Chennai and a report to development managers in India and the US.
